I'm so excited to bring you guys my very first giveaway - an adorable dress from online boutique Shabby Apple! When I saw the sweet ruffles, amazing color, and Parisian perfect styling of the L'Amour dress, I knew this was the one - this dress would be the perfect thing to wear for a summer wedding or an evening stroll along the Seine.

    I would wear this dress on a stroll through Heidelberg, Germany, taking in all the University sites and a stop at Hemingway's cafe to have a coffee. Looks so breezy-easy, I might need to even bring a colorful scarf to stay a little warmer at night. :)

    This dress is perfect for brunch at the conservatory followed by a long walk along the river. It's so classy yet versatile I could wear it out for some cocktails and conversation with friends after a long day of exploring the city and still look fabulous.

    Ooooooh, I love this dress! I'd wear it everywhere--even on the farm in North Dakota where I live! It looks great for summer bonfires at home-- throw on a cardigan at night, and sit by the cozy fire!

    I feel completely lame admitting that I don't currently own any dresses, but one of my main reasons for starting a blog was dressing in a more feminine way, and this dress would be a gorgeous way to start!I unfortunately have no summer weddings to attend or trips out of Texas planned, but my best friend and sister-in-law will be turning 30 this summer and we're planning a girls' day for her birthday. This would be the perfect dress to ensure I won't be the only un-stylish person in jeans!

    I would wear it at my December 2011 Bon Voyage party, and then I'd take it from city to city on my upcoming travels...

    I've taken a hiatus from buying new clothes in order to save for my 2012 round-the-world trip. This year-long journey around the globe has been a dream of mine for years, and now that it's so close to becoming a reality, I'm banking on the delayed gratification now yielding a handsome payoff next year.

    My itinerary will include Cuzco, Peru; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; a transatlantic ship voyage (and yes, as a backpacker, I'll be in dire need of something suitable to meet the cruise line's wardrobe expectations!) Barcelona, Spain; Fez, Morocco; Beirut, Lebanon; Cape Town, South Africa; Zanzibar, Tanzania; Columbo, Sri Lanka; Vientiane, Laos; Bali, Indonesia; and Christchurch, New Zealand...
